I came to psychology by following my curiosity and deep fascination in people; how we operate, why we do the things we do, experience the things we experience and how we influence each other and the world around us. I’ve always felt called to scratch beneath the surface of what we see on the outside, and really understand what is going on within. How the inside, effects the outside, and through understanding this, how we can heal and re-connect with our true selves.

My aim is to support people to find greater understanding, acceptance and kindness towards themselves as they navigate the inevitable ups and downs of life.

My work is strongly influenced by principles of Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Buddhist Psychology, Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Psychology, Positive Psychology and Emotion Focused Therapy.

Through these approaches, I collaboratively work with individuals to shift old patterns of responding to themselves and their world, which are no longer serving them, and create new pathways of being which support greater health, wellbeing, resilience, self-acceptance, self-compassion and inner peace.

I have a passion for supporting people to enhance their relationship with themselves and, in doing so, enhance their relationship with the people and the world around them.

I am also passionate about supporting people to reconnect with what is truly important to them, thus facilitating a greater sense of satisfaction, fulfilment, meaning and purpose in life.

In addition to working individually with clients, I also offer Mindfulness and Self-Compassion based courses, workshops and retreats.

Anna is currently available Monday mornings for telehealth psychology appointments,
