Dr Marina McPherson has been practicing integrative family medicine for more than 10 years. Marina is very passionate about educating people about their health, inspiring and empowering them to live their best and most optimal life.
Marina completed her studies in post-graduate medicine at Flinders University, Adelaide, in 2005. She has undergone further training in nutritional and environmental medicine with the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine and loves incorporating these principals into her holistic approach.
Marina believes that good wholesome food and a balanced lifestyle are the important foundations to good health. Her interests include:
- gut and digestive health
- general women’s health
- menopause
- thyroid health
- metabolic disease management ie prediabetes, diabetes and weight management
- chronic disease prevention
- health optimisation
- mental health
- children’s health and behavioural concerns
Outside of work, Marina enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful children. She loves discovering near and far nature walks, keeping fit, reading, knitting, travelling, and enjoying good food and coffee.

New Patients: 60 mins
Review Patients: 15, 30, 45 or 60 mins
Well Women’s checks: 30 mins (includes cervical screening and breast checks)
Mental Health Care Plans: 30mins (+ may require follow up appointment)

>15mins $99 (Medicare rebate of $41.20)
>30mins $199 (Medicare rebate of $79.70)
>45mins $299 (Medicare rebate of $117.40)
>60mins $399 (Medicare rebate of $117.40)

Please note, all new patient appointments with Dr Marina require a 50% deposit (of the appointment fee) to be paid, which is processed at the time of booking. This fee is refundable or transferable if the booking is changed or cancelled with greater than 48hrs notice. Less than 48hrs notice will lead to a forfeiture of the deposit.
Telehealth appointments are available upon request for return patients.
According to Medicare requirements, Medicare rebates for telehealth appointments only apply for those patients who have seen Dr Marina *in person* in the previous 12 month period.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We ask that at least 48 hours notice is provided in order to cancel or change your appointment, so this time can be offered to another patient. Appointments cancelled or changed with less than 48hrs notice will be charged to your credit card at the fee charge of your appointment, with NO Medicare rebate.
